Freedom as a Natural State of Being

It’s been a while since I posted here, and it’s still not entirely clear what’s happening. I know there are some deep, tectonic plate-type changes going on, and I’ve felt the shifts taking place on multiple levels of my being. I’m changing, The Power of Change is changing, the way I receive and transmit messages is changing… It’s been a few months of incredible discovery, watching as ‘circles’ have closed on past experiences, seeing the moment when the seed was planted and how it led to *this* exact moment. I’ve felt the expansion of my energetic core, longing to be free of the limitations I’ve placed on it throughout this and perhaps other lifetimes. Back in December I was given the insight that this year Continue reading Freedom as a Natural State of Being

Deconstructing Ownership

*First seen in Resonate emagazine Issue # 1, in May 2014 – Reprinted with permission* The Shift is underway. We’re past the point of no return, heading into the great unknown, and there’s some collective fear and anxiety around the idea of ‘how’ we go about this thing. What’s being made clear is that releasing is vital in this process of shifting, and when I asked ‘what do we have to release?’ the answer I got was ‘everything.’ Hmmm. At first glance, not so helpful. As I looked deeper into this, clarity began to emerge, and the main focus was on structures and the current forms that things, beliefs or experiences take. Our lives here in the 3D are based on structures, which are rapidly Continue reading Deconstructing Ownership

Living in The Field of Dreams

The film ‘Field of Dreams,’ based on the novel ‘Shoeless Joe,’ by WP Kinsella, offers some seriously yummy food for thought. At first glance, it may feel too fantastical to be real; the idea that we could build a baseball field in the middle of Iowa and know that people will come to see (long-)dead guys play ball may seem like too much of a stretch to contemplate. On closer inspection, though, it’s full of hope, trust and enchantment that offers a beautiful alternative to the fear-based reality in which so many of us live. And it is completely within the realm of possibility if we choose to make it a part of our reality/belief systems. There’s all kinds of ‘practical’ wisdom that would tell Continue reading Living in The Field of Dreams

Life Lessons from the Full Monty

If you haven’t seen The Full Monty, it’s a 1997 film about a bunch of unemployed guys in the North of England who decide that for one night, they’ll bare all to earn some quick cash. It’s a funny, and in many ways touching film about the personal, inner journeys each man takes on the way to full frontal, public nudity. Here’s a short clip of scenes from the film: There are so many ways we can learn life lessons, and at first glance this may not be the most obvious place to look. Even seemingly light-hearted films like this have as much to teach us any book written by the biggest name author. It’s just a matter of stepping back from the story of Continue reading Life Lessons from the Full Monty

Goddess Wanted: Apply Within

At first I thought of calling this article, ‘Where the Heck is my Inner Goddess?’ but realised in a way, that question answers itself. My (Inner) Goddess is within. So why have I had such difficulty finding her? I’ve been doing a whole lot of letting go lately, and as I do, I find new perspectives flooding into me, and new layers still to be uncovered. I realised that a big part of the Inner Goddess is a Mother, and I’ve had some pretty distorted ideas about what that means. Without a healthier view of the concept of motherhood, I can’t embrace the fullness of my Divine Feminine, my Inner Goddess. We’re all born in the perfection of who we are, and as time goes Continue reading Goddess Wanted: Apply Within
