Forget Diamonds; Feelings are a Girl’s Best Friend

Actually, they’re a human’s best friend, but the song says girl, so I went with it. As a collective, we’re returning to the knowledge of the Divine Feminine at its full strength, so get ready to feel, like you’ve never felt before. No more of this surface-level bullshit or striving for the happy, clappy stuff that bypasses the truth of your power. Your power lies in the capacity to tap into the heart and soul of everything in existence, and that connection is through your Source-given ability to feel. If you’re not willing to feel certain emotions, labelling them as ‘negative’ or ‘uncomfortable,’ you’re doing yourself and the world a disservice. You’re also denying yourself the opportunity to feel the truth of Love at a Continue reading Forget Diamonds; Feelings are a Girl’s Best Friend

There are No Victims

Recently, there has been a huge upswell of compassion and outrage over the death of Cecil, an African lion shot by a trophy hunter. This provides a beautiful opportunity for shifting our collective views around empowerment and victimhood. Cecil, while an ‘animal’ in this incarnation, is a spiritual being as enormous as any other. As a collective we ALL have a role to play, and Cecil was every bit as much an agent as the hunter. On a soul level, there is no difference between man and ‘beast’ or between hunter and hunted. We live, we breathe, we contribute to collective consciousness and evolution. Cecil is a powerhouse, and the evidence is in the aftermath of the events surrounding his death. If we remove agency Continue reading There are No Victims

A Love Song for the Animals

Animals have always been my salvation in a world where I felt mistrust towards people and circumstances. Spending time with them brings me such joy and peace, and I think I’ve always known they are far wiser than they’re given credit for. I just didn’t understand how wise. They bring so many gifts and teach us so much in their short and incredibly sweet lives, and this post is to honour their spirits, and their journeys. I’ll start with the premise that animals most definitely have souls. Souls as wide as the skies and as deep as the oceans. Souls so big and loving that to contain them within their relatively tiny bodies must be a strange and laughable experience for them. Anyone who has Continue reading A Love Song for the Animals

Imperfection: Embracing the Art of Fucking Up

Hey, guess what? I’m not perfect. Well, suck it up, buttercup, because neither are you. There is no such thing as perfection, despite what we’re taught or shown or led to believe by ‘the powers that be.’ Even Source/God/whatever you choose to call it, which we’ve always believed to be perfect, isn’t perfect because that doesn’t exist. What? How can Source not be perfect, when it creates everything as perfection? Well, because it doesn’t believe in imperfection or recognise ‘mistakes,’ it also can’t access that impossible perfection that we humans aspire to. I’ll try to put it another way – the existence of one aspect of perfection must be acknowledged in order for the other to exist. In this case, Source does not acknowledge that Continue reading Imperfection: Embracing the Art of Fucking Up

Goddess Wanted: Apply Within

At first I thought of calling this article, ‘Where the Heck is my Inner Goddess?’ but realised in a way, that question answers itself. My (Inner) Goddess is within. So why have I had such difficulty finding her? I’ve been doing a whole lot of letting go lately, and as I do, I find new perspectives flooding into me, and new layers still to be uncovered. I realised that a big part of the Inner Goddess is a Mother, and I’ve had some pretty distorted ideas about what that means. Without a healthier view of the concept of motherhood, I can’t embrace the fullness of my Divine Feminine, my Inner Goddess. We’re all born in the perfection of who we are, and as time goes Continue reading Goddess Wanted: Apply Within
