Richard Spady is a member of Bain's Consumer Products practice, with particular expertise in TransformationOrganization strategy, Supply Chain, Complexity Management, Corporate Finance and Change Management.

Richard has 20 years of strategy and management consulting experience.

Since joining Bain in 2006, Richard has worked extensively with large, multi-brand consumer products and retail clients, helping them tackle such issues as growth strategy, M&A, sales and marketing strategy, operational and organizational effectiveness, margin improvement and customer retention. He has helped multiple clients lead strategy and large transformational change efforts.

In addition, Richard regularly provides expert advice on Bain’s operating model, supply chain reinvention and complexity management approaches. He also supports clients seeking to unleash the power of their people through organization strategy and Agile ways of working.

Prior to joining Bain, Richard worked for several years in strategy, operations and supply chain management. He has also supported numerous due diligence and post-acquisition efforts in the food and beverage, consumer products, retail and industrial industries.

Richard holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in commerce, with concentrations in finance and management, from the University of Virginia.
