Kent Knudson is a member of the Bain's Retail and Performance Improvement practices.

His primary focus is on performance improvement initiatives, with deep expertise in retail store operations and transformational change programs. In addition, Kent supports Bain’s clients in the retail sector on broader issues ranging from strategy to pricing and customer segmentation. He also has extensive experience supporting Bain's private equity clients on investment due diligence projects and post-acquisition programs.

In addition to his case work, Kent leads the firm's global MBA recruiting efforts at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and has served as an advisor on a number of pro-bono projects executed though Bain’s Global Development program.

Prior to joining Bain, he worked in Finance for Target Corporation in Minneapolis.

Kent holds an MBA with distinction from the Ross School of Business and a BA in Political Science from St. John's University (MN).
