Change or Spiritual Awakening?

Change is one of life’s constants; there is no being on this planet that hasn’t experienced it in one way or another, every day of their lives. Not all changes are created equal. Some feel easy, like a gentle curve in a country road, leading in a new direction. They flow into and out of your life with little commotion, leaving you feeling fresh and invigorated. Others blow through your life like a tempest, tearing you out of the comfortably familiar sameness and razing the foundations on which you’ve built your life to this point. They’re destructive, cathartic, and life-changing. These are the changes where you know you’ve reached the point of no return. You walk away feeling raw; transformed by the process of being Continue reading Change or Spiritual Awakening?

Surrender Everything

I’m being reminded that the act of surrender encompasses EVERYTHING. Letting go involves the release of hopes, dreams and desires as well as what no longer serves. Why? Because sometimes the hopes, dreams and desires we’ve been holding on to as beacons through the stormy weather are no longer a fit for what we have become or are in the process of becoming. In other words, we outgrow our dreams and desires as we integrate the fullness of ourselves. As with any other releasing, this can bring up sadness, longing or discomfort, as we surrender the beauty of what we’ve so long held on to as safety, security or possibility. What it brings is an opening for so much more, something that truly fits us Continue reading Surrender Everything

Alchemy or Avoidance?

Happy Thursday, everyone, and 777 (7/7/16)! Woo Hoo! That’s got to mean something. Sevens in the tarot are about mastery and establishing a solid footing for the expansion and completion that lies ahead. It feels tied in to the idea of the holy trinity of inner child, self and higher self that are simultaneously reaching mastery to enhance and support alignment (and ascension). RAWR! (7+7+1+6 = 21, which breaks down into 3, confirming the presence of the trinity). This ties in SO beautifully with the message I received today while out for a walk. It touches on the idea of avoidance vs alchemy. I LOVE this message. What is the difference between avoidance and alchemy? Alchemy digests the truth; it incorporates the energy of diverse Continue reading Alchemy or Avoidance?

Resonance and Integrity

Here’s something to consider: Personal integrity is just that – personal. It is a choice, and can only be defined by each of us for us alone. The thing is, we’re all energetic beings, and strive for resonance. With that in mind, the messages we speak, even as they come through a channel from Source, come through our body. The resonance then, is related to how integral each person is in their own understanding of that, not in anyone else’s estimation. It means that whoever is receiving the messages feels the resonance as a reflection of the messenger’s own alignment. So, if the messenger is in some way not being honest with themselves about what they say they hold as valuable, it is only between Continue reading Resonance and Integrity

Catharsis and the Art of Falling Apart

Catharsis, breakdown, breakthrough, dark night of the soul, rock bottom, turning point, tipping point, crisis point, psycho-spiritual crisis; no matter what you call it, it’s the same thing. It’s that point at which something in you decides the way you’ve been going is no longer going to work. It can feel traumatic or easy, depending how attached you are to the way things are at present. I’m writing about this process at the moment, and have had several years to ruminate over the different forms it can take. It all started with my own catharsis, which led me to examine my old ways of doing things in some serious detail. I examined, and examined, and released and released and released… What the process gave me was Continue reading Catharsis and the Art of Falling Apart
